Loop de Ville is the go-to event for newcomers and experienced trail users alike to celebrate the connectedness of our community through the trails and the natural landscape that surrounds Charlottesville.

Loop de Ville Fest is a full day of guided group hikes, walks, runs, bike rides and accessible strolls on the Rivanna Trail, followed by an after party and outdoor concert.
This is your chance to experience a guided and supported hike, run, or bike on the ~20 mile loop of trails that encircle our city!
Only wanna do a mile or two? No problem! We’ve got shorter events that only cover small sections of the loop. Join for what you want and nothing more. Some folks are even doing team relays!
All events are FREE with an optional donation and you do not have to do a trail event to enjoy the concert!

Volunteers are crucial for the success of Loop de Ville Fest. Setup, cheer and support at an aid station, lead a ride/bike/run, take photos… there’s a job for everyone! Learn more and sign up below.
